My research interests are in evolutionary genetics, fish biogeography and conservation. After completing my undergraduate and graduate degree(s) in Zoology from the Kannur and Manonmaniam Sundaranar University respectively, I worked as a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Conservation Biology, Department of Zoology, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, India. Currently, I am based at the Laboratory of Ecotoxicology, Evolution and Genomics, CIIMAR, Centro Interdisciplinar de Investigação Marinha at the Universidade do Porto, Portugal.
